Album artwork for danish Pop/R&B/Hip-Hop act Outlandish and the release
'Sound Of A Rebel'. The groups members all come from various ethnic backgrounds and have often been known to have strong opinions on politics and religion. With this album the band wanted to move away these themes and work more on putting the music in focus.
For the artwork they asked me to do something edgy yet smooth without references to their musical or personal background. The whole theme of the records is
'back to the roots', so i created a bunch of instruments crossed with organic objects to make an obvious conection to that. Initially they wanted to do something trashy and
'rock looking', but they didnt dare take the full step in the end. The front artwork was kind of a compromise to pull things back in a more urban direction.
